Hello everyone,
My name is Moataz Adnan. I am 29 years old, from North Gaza.
Three months before the war began, I got married. We were just beginning our life together. Then everything changed.
Our home in North Gaza was bombed. We were buried under the rubble and survived, but my brother Emad was killed. In a single moment, we lost our home, our belongings, my job, and a piece of our family that can never be replaced.
On October 13, 2023, my wife and I were forced to flee south. We moved between shelters and tents — first in Deir al-Balah, then Rafah — enduring shortages of food and water, contamination, shelling, extreme heat, and cold. Even the tents in Rafah were bombed. We survived again.
After the first ceasefire, we returned north, hoping to find something of our life still standing. Instead, we found devastation. Everything we knew was gone.
Today, we are raising $20,000 for ongoing survival — food supplies, shelter, medicine, clean water, and basic necessities for our baby boy, who has never known a day of life outside of war. He deserves safety, nourishment, and a future.
We are not rebuilding luxuries. We are fighting to survive.
Every dollar helps us secure food, hygiene supplies, and medical care in a place where prices are extreme and resources are scarce. Your support means stability in the middle of chaos.
Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for helping our son have a chance at life beyond survival.
With gratitude,
Moataz
