Help Tommy, aka King, Fight Cancer

For a couple of months, a few of us have known Tommy has been in pain and was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Tommy was keeping this to himself and at first was going to do this alone. This weekend, he let it be known to more people, so now I’m making it public to all of his friends and family and asking for help. He’s a father, a son, a friend, and he is my best friend, and we won’t lose him!

His journey ahead will be challenging — both physically and financially. The challenge has already started. He has been paying the doctor bills out of pocket by his additional work he does outside his daily job. He didn’t have insurance until recently, and due to having this pre-existing condition, the insurance is expensive and will be of little help. There will come a time when he will not be physically capable of continuing his job nor the additional work.

Anyone who knows Tommy knows his strength, his pride, his giving personality, and his willingness to help anyone he comes across that needs help. He has saved a JetSki on pretty much every ride he’s been on. That’s the type of person he is. He has so much going on in his life but will still help others, putting his own needs last. Now he needs to put himself first and we are going to help him with this. It’s our turn to lift him up. He specializes in stereo/speaker/amp installations. He is the expert. The King of Bass. He plans to continue his specialties until he absolutely can’t anymore.

Tommy will begin treatment soon, which means time away from work and growing medical expenses. While he focuses on healing, we want to make sure he doesn’t have to worry about bills, travel costs, or lost income.
