Axel fight against Leukemia

Hi my name is Yetliza, and I am the mother of Axel. My 7 year old boy has been diagnosed with T-Cell Leukemia on August 20,2022. We were able to start his chemotherapy on August 23,2022 as well as his everyday medications. We were informed his treatment will last 3 years. Due to medical advances we have a lot of hope Axel will recover and beat this cancer. We have already been given our road map which informs us every time we will be needing to go to the clinic which will be every Tuesday and Thursday for labs and possible transfusions and he will be receiving chemotherapy every Friday. This has taken a toll on every aspect of our life’s not only us as parents but also for his older sister Alexis and his younger sister Adelina. Axel will be needing round-the-clock care both in the hospital and when he comes back home therefore aside of being his full time mom I will be his full time caregiver for these reasons I will not be able to continue my profession. Every donation will be going towards Axel medical expenses as well as our family’s financial hardship.

 Hola, me llamo Yetliza y soy la madre de Axel. Mi hijo de 7 años fue diagnosticado con leucemia de células T el 20 de agosto de 2022. Pudimos comenzar su quimioterapia el 23 de agosto de 2022, así como sus medicamentos diarios. Nos informaron de que su tratamiento durará 3 años. Debido a los avances médicos, tenemos muchas esperanzas de que Axel se recupere y gane este cáncer. Ya se nos ha dado nuestra hoja de ruta, que nos informa cada vez que tengamos que ir a la clínica, que será todos los martes y jueves para laboratorios y posibles transfusiones, y él recibirá quimioterapia todos los viernes. Esto ha afectado a todos los aspectos de nuestra vida, no solo a nosotros como padres, sino también a su hermana mayor Alexis y a su hermana menor Adelina. Axel necesitará atención las 24 horas del día tanto en el hospital como cuando vuelva a casa, por lo tanto, aparte de ser su madre a tiempo completo, seré su cuidadora a tiempo completo por estas razones, no podré continuar con mi profesión. Cada donación se destinará a los gastos médicos de Axel, así como a las dificultades financieras de nuestra familia.
