Eviction

We are a family of 3. My husband was laid off over five months ago and has been interviewing for jobs but has not had luck as of yet. I am struggling to find something myself, which will still allow me the flexibility to homeschool our autistic son. We have been surviving with my husband's Unemployment but it is not enough and is about to run out. We have been denied for food stamps. Our health insurance has lapsed. We have exhausted all savings. Now, we are three months behind on our rent, and we have received notice and we must pay our balance by Thursday February 27 or vacate the premises. We have struggled with the decision to create this fundraiser and it sickens and pains me to do this. But at the urging of a couple of good friends, we've decided to try it, as we have no other options at this point.  We recently moved into our rented home last summer and we love it here, not to mention the fact that we have no where else to go. We just need a little more time. We've been hoping our income tax refund would come in time to save us but it is not yet scheduled, and our landlord has already given us an extension.
