Help Give Dave the Cat the Care and Comfort She Deserves

Many of you will know and love Dave, Harrold’s sweet village cat who’s made her home outside the chip shop for years. She’s become part of village life – always waiting by the Co-op for breakfast and greeting everyone who passes.

Sadly, Dave is now 16 years old, deaf, and showing signs of illness. She’s losing weight, often asks for food but doesn’t eat, and has been seen walking unsteadily. We’re worried she may have a thyroid or other age-related condition that needs veterinary care.

The good news is that we’ve managed to secure a place for Dave at a wonderful rescue centre, where she’ll be safe, warm, and eventually rehomed with the love she deserves.

We’re now raising funds to cover her vet checks and treatment before she goes, so that the charity isn’t left out of pocket for helping one of our own.

Any donation – no matter how small – will go directly towards Dave’s vet care and give her the best chance of a comfortable, happy future. ❤️
