Safe Home Now: Urgent Fund for Relocation
Donation protected
Hi, I'm YoMo and I am fundraising for my friend Valerie Fuentes and her family. On June 19th, Valerie and her husband Gino Fuentes faced a nightmare when their home was flooded with sewer water due to a plumbing issue. Imagine waking up in the middle of the night to find your bedroom and house flooded by contaminated water. It was devastating.

Desperate to contain the situation, they called 911 for help, but the damage was already done. The plumbers arrived the next day and replaced the toilet, but the sewer water had seeped beneath the floors. With Sophie, their 14-month-old baby, constantly crawling and exploring, their top priority is ensuring her safety.
Unfortunately, the only way to dry and clean the floors properly is to remove them, which means they urgently need to move out. However, the funds required for immediate relocation are beyond their reach at this time.

While they have filed an insurance claim, the lengthy process means they can't rely on it for immediate assistance as processing time can take approximately 1-2 years. Given the high humidity in Miami, Florida, the risk of mold toxicity is a major concern. To protect their baby's health, time is of the essence.
We turn to you, our compassionate community, to help us create a safe home for their little one. Your support will enable Valerie, Gino, and Sophie to move into a clean and healthy environment.
Our goal is to cover the costs of immediate relocation, including a rental deposit, moving expenses, and temporary accommodation. We estimate that $7,500 (to cover three month's worth of rent) will be necessary to ensure their quick departure from the mold-infested environment.
Your contribution, no matter the amount, will make a huge impact on their lives. Thank you so much in advance for supporting this loving family and providing them with the security and peace of mind they need.
