Libby was recently diagnosed with cancer for the second time. Shortly after that diagnosis, and unrelated to it , she required emergency abdominal surgery. Unfortunately, this  required her to be airlifted out of the Chelan Valley to Swedish Hospital in Seattle during the holiday season. She has been there since the 26th of December and hopefully will return to Chelan soon.  Future treatment has not been defined at this point in time but what is known is that she will require additional medical care.  Libby has insurance but the out of pocket expenses are mounting up.  Any financial support you could lend would be gratefully appreciated or drop of cards at Riverwalk Books, Moonpenny, or Lake Chelan Sports. 

As a friend of the Manthey family and having been through cancer myself, I understand the financial implications a cancer diagnosis. However, I can't imagine the financial implications of round two or any of the additional challenges. I'm hopeful to see Libby's success story of round two.
