On 10/2/19 a drunk driver crashed their vehicle into the apartment of Mr. Doyle Jones and fled the scene. Mr. Jones is a elderly veteran who recently had triple bypass heart surgery in May, 2019 and two strokes that have affected his brain and limited his mobility and requires consistent care and a safe home environment.
The owner of the apartment complex is refusing to continue any repairs to Mr. Jones apartment because he can't be refunded by the drunk driver and therefore Mr. Jones has been living in a hotel while on a fixed income.
Mr. Jones needs your financial assistance with raising funds so that he can raise enough money to be able to move out of this apartment where the landlord cares more about his own financial losses than a displaced veteran.
Every single dollar raised will be donated directly to Mr. Jones in the hopes of offsetting the costs of deposits and rent in his search for a new apartment.
