We are a family with three children. Two little girls and a boy. I lost my job in the pandemic and had to sell our home. We’ve been trying to build another but the skyrocketing prices of materials have made it almost impossible to do on our own. It’s been almost 5 years now and we still don’t have a functioning roof, plumbing, electricity or running water. It’s been so hard watching the children struggle without the most basic of necessities. Please help us. I’ve applied for every loan and grant but I keep being rejected and turned down at every turn. Every contractor we hired took our money and never finished anything. The kids live without the most basic of necessities, not even a bedroom. Please help us give them the life they deserve. We need only a few thousand more to secure plumbing and perhaps even get electricity hooked up so at least the ground floor is livable. Even church groups have refused to help time and time again.
