On May 30th, our brother Mike stopped breathing while going through a drive thru in Oklahoma City, Ok. Thanks to two angels...the one in the car in front of him who alerted the car behind Mike to call 911 and the person behind who just happened to be a physicians assistant and did CPR...our brother was able to continue to get oxygen until an ambulance arrived. The paramedics shocked Mike twice to get a pulse. Mike was put in an induced coma for four days in an effort to save brain cells and to stop swelling. It appears that he had an intense spike in blood pressure which caused him to stop breathing. He has had every test imaginable, from cat scans, heart tests, xrays to being intubated twice.

Mike has had a few setbacks but is on the road to recovery, however, it has been about two weeks in the hospital and he may need more care so we are unsure as to his length of stay or recovery time.

Mike has been the best son, brother, uncle, friend, colleague that you can imagine. Our whole life we have known our brother to never forget a birthday (card plus money no matter your age) and he has given to many in time of need. He has never asked for anything in return. Mike has a big heart and his love for God is immeasurable. We believe God must have a real purpose for his life since so many people were in place the day of his incident. We are forever grateful and we feel blessed that his life has been spared.

The money we raise for Mike will go toward hospital bills and for his loss of income.
