I’m writing to share something close to my heart. This October, I’m embarking on a 75-mile walk with my loyal dog, Snoop, to raise vital funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA).
This cause is deeply personal to me because my mum is living with motor neurone disease (MND).
MND is a devastating condition that affects the nerves in the brain and spinal cord, gradually taking away a person’s ability to walk, talk, eat, and breathe. There is currently no cure, but the MNDA provides critical support, funds research for treatments, and raises awareness to improve the lives of those affected.
Watching my mum face this disease has shown me the importance of their work, and I want to do my part to help.
By walking 75 miles, Snoop and I aim to raise as much as possible to support the MNDA’s efforts. Every step we take will be in honour of my mum and everyone else battling MND. We’re training hard, and my furry companion is ready for the challenge!
I’m reaching out to ask for your support.
Would you consider sponsoring us?
Any amount, no matter how small, will make a difference.
Your generosity will help fund research, care, and support for those living with MND.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for considering supporting our walk. If you’d like to follow our journey or learn more about MND, please feel free to get in touch. Together, we can make a real impact.
With gratitude,
Rachael.
Proudly walking for Mum and the MNDA.
