مناشدة إنسانية: غزل بحاجة إلى مساعدتكم العاجلة

غزل، مواليد ٢٠٠٩، طالبة في الصف الرابع الإعدادي. بعد معاناتها مع سرطان العظام الذي أصيبت به في عام ٢٠١٩، خضعت الطفلة لعدّة عمليات جراحية وجرعات كيميائية، وكانت بحاجة لبتر عظم الساق واستبداله بعظام بلاتينية. ورغم كل ذلك، لم تفقد غزل شغفها بالحياة، حيث تحب الرسم والأعمال اليدوية، وتصنع الأساور من الخرز في أوقات فراغها.

لكن الأخبار ليست جيدة هذه المرة. تحتاج غزل إلى ٣ عمليات جراحية أخرى، العاجلة منها هي عملية لتطويل الساق، حيث أصبحت تعاني من عدم التوازن بسبب اختلاف طول الساقين. تكلفة العملية تصل إلى ٢٠ مليون دينار عراقي، والوقت ينفد. وتأخير العملية قد يؤدي إلى كسر عظمها وزيادة تفاقم حالتها.

وفي هذا السياق، تتحدث والدتها، وهي أم لثلاثة أطفال، عن معاناة الأسرة وتطلب المساعدة:

"أنا أم غزل من بعقوبة في ديالى. فقدت زوجي ولا أملك الإمكانية لعلاج ابنتي. لقد واجهت صدمة عندما اكتشفت أن غزل مصابة بمرض سرطان العظام. بدأت رحلة علاجية صعبة، وساعدني أهل الخير من داخل وخارج العراق. لكن اليوم، غزل بحاجة ماسة لثلاث عمليات جراحية إضافية، أولها عملية عاجلة لتطويل الساق ويجب إجراءها حصراً في الهند. كنتُ أتمنى إجراءها في العراق ولكن ليس هناك أدوات خاصة لحالة غزل هنا. أرجو من الجميع أن ينظروا إلى ابنتي بعين الرحمة. نحن نعيش في بيت إيجار، ودخلنا يعتمد فقط على راتب الرعاية. أحتاج مساعدتكم حتى لو بألف دينار. كل دينار سيساهم في جمع المبلغ بأسرع وقت ممكن."

Humanitarian Appeal: Ghazal Urgently Needs Your Help Ghazal, born in 2009, is a high school student in her fourth year. Since being diagnosed with bone cancer in 2019, she has undergone multiple surgeries and chemotherapy sessions. She had to have her leg bone amputated and replaced with a platinum bone. Despite everything, Ghazal never lost her passion for life. She loves drawing, crafting, and making beaded bracelets in her free time. Unfortunately, the news is not good this time. Ghazal needs three more surgeries, the most urgent of which is a leg-lengthening procedure. She is now suffering from an imbalance due to the difference in the length of her legs. The cost of this surgery is 20 million Iraqi dinars, and time is running out. Delaying the operation could lead to bone fractures and further complications. Her mother, a widow and mother of three, shares her family’s struggles and pleads for help: “I am Ghazal’s mother, from Baqubah in Diyala. I lost my husband and have no means to afford my daughter’s treatment. It was a devastating shock to learn that Ghazal had bone cancer. We have endured a difficult journey, and kind-hearted people from inside and outside Iraq have helped us along the way. But today, Ghazal urgently needs three additional surgeries, the first of which is a leg-lengthening operation that must be performed in India. I had hoped it could be done in Iraq, but the necessary medical tools for her condition are not available here. I beg everyone to look at my daughter with mercy. We live in a rented house, and our only income is a small welfare allowance. We need your help—even a donation of 1,000 dinars can make a difference.
