The Mural Project

My name is Bonnie and I am the founder of the Milagros Project. Many of us in Milagros are in the Puerto Rican Diaspora. Recently, we commissioned local artist, Arturo(Arte) Carde to breathe new life into a mural in a school in Manatí. We know art matters. We know our schools matter. We know art transforms spaces. Not only will the mural project continue to bring awareness to what is happening in Puerto Rican schools, it will also bring art and beauty as the students deserve. All projects are done with the permission and partnering with teachers, administrators, and schools. All proceeds directly go to the murals and artist.
