Hi, my name is Rachel and I’m struggling to pay the vet bill for my sweet dog Phoebe who is back in the ER for the second time in the last couple months. It turns out that she has pulmonary hypertension and her lungs are currently filled with fluid and she’s having trouble breathing. She’s comfortably on oxygen right now and they are keeping her overnight to try and get it under control.

As many of you probably know, I struggle with mental health issues and Phoebe is my lifeline and service animal. This last year has been particularly rough for me as I had to move, had long covid and trouble finding steady employment. The bill this time is 2,700 dollars so far (see below).
