Panda’s recovery

I am setting this page up for a family pet- Panda, a sweet energetic little 1 yr old pup. Panda is a sweetheart who loves anyone and everyone (especially his dad).

On Wednesday morning, when Panda was out his morning potty, he managed to get under a truck without anyone noticing- unfortunately, the driver did not know he was there and when he reversed, baby Panda was caught under.

Panda was rushed immediately to the hospital where he had to undergo surgery. Fortunately enough, the surgery was successful and Panda is expected to recover. He had internal bleeding, a broken leg and a fractured rib.

As you can imagine, an emergency trip to the vet came with a hefty bill, unfortunately Panda does not have pet insurance so his owners are left to foot the entire bill. At the end of the day, whatever the cost was I am so thankful he made it- we will manage as best we can. That said, we humbly ask anyone that is able and willing to, for any support. Whether that is $1, $5, or by simply sharing this- anything and everything counts.

If you are able to support in any way, we greatly appreciate it.

Panda will definitely be getting pet insurance although this accident nor his follow up visits will be covered. I will post follow up pictures and progress as Panda recovers.

Update ** We are updating to goal based on family contributions and adjustments from the veterinary hospital. Panda is recovering and slowly gaining confidence in moving around again. Thank you to all who have donated!
