So, this is pretty awkward for me since I am terrible at asking for help. The last few years have been pretty rough between deaths of loved ones, being laid off and out of work for months 2 years ago, and now going to the ER multiple times in December. Now I am having spinal surgery this month, but I don’t have the needed leave at my current job to cover my recovery time.

I work in civil service, and we are now anticipating a furlough this month. Even if that doesn’t happen, civil service work is not as stable as it used to be.

As I will not be able to work at my day job or my second job, I am finally going to humble myself. I need help. Anything that is donated will go to cover medical expenses and bills until my 6-8 week recovery is complete. I sincerely appreciate anything that is donated. And if you are unable to donate, I completely understand. I will also accept sandwiches during my recovery time as well! And if you can do neither, then I appreciate you so much for making it to the end of this ramble! Love you all no matter what!
