Right now, our dear friends are facing every parent’s worst nightmare.
Recently, Aiden underwent major surgery to remove a brain tumor. We are incredibly grateful to share that the surgery was successful, and Aiden continues to show incredible strength and courage as he recovers.
However, this is only the beginning of a long and difficult journey ahead.
In the coming weeks, Aiden and his parents will be traveling to Chicago for approximately 8–10 weeks so he can undergo specialized radiation treatment that is currently not offered in Canada. This treatment is an important part of Aiden’s fight, and his parents will be by his side every step of the way as he continues recovery and further treatment.
In an instant, life has shifted from everyday routines to hospital stays, medical appointments, travel, uncertainty, and unimaginable emotional stress.
To support Aiden through recovery, radiation, treatments, and the ongoing care he will need, both parents will be taking significant time away from work to become his full-time caregivers during this chapter of his journey.
While their focus should be entirely on Aiden’s healing and well-being, the reality is that the financial pressures during a medical crisis can quickly become overwhelming. Lost income, travel expenses, accommodations in Boston, meals, parking, medications, and the many unexpected costs that come with caring for a sick child all add additional stress during an already heartbreaking time.
We are creating this GoFundMe to help ease some of that burden so this family can focus on what matters most: Aiden.
Any donation, no matter the amount, will help support Aiden’s recovery journey and provide relief to his family during this incredibly difficult chapter. If you are unable to donate, sharing this page and keeping Aiden and his family in your thoughts and prayers would mean the world.
Aiden is surrounded by a community that loves him deeply, and together we can help remind this family that they are not facing this alone.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, prayers, and support.
