Team Dawson

Edwin was diagnosed with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia on Christmas Eve 2018.  He has been hospitalized at Duke University Hospital since that time, and has spent most of his time in ICU.  In addition to a shocking leukemia diagnosis, Edwin has experienced septic shock resulting from multiple infections and resulting in multi-organ failure.  Treatment for leukemia is on hold for right now because Edwin's critical needs are to save his kidneys and liver.  Many doctors are involved in Edwin's case and are working hard to help bring him home.  Edwin has a long road ahead of him.  It will be months before he is able to be home.  In addition, Adriane (Edwin's wife) is spending the majority of her time at the hospital with Edwin while driving back home when she can to be with the boys.  Edwin is a friend to many and he is very involved with any activity that his boys are involved in.....Wendell Rams football, basketball, baseball, etc.  While this family mainly covets your prayers, they will need financial assistance throughout this heartbreaking situation.  If you find it in your heart to give, please consider doing so here!  The Dawsons will be forever grateful!
