Hi my name is Yazmine , I'm making this account on behalf of my loving mother Maria or as some of you know Lucy who passed after a long battle with covid, She was an amazing wife, mother , grandmother, daughter, sister, fur baby mommy & aunt, she was my best friend & if you knew her you knew she was the spiciest jalapeno of them all. Her smile would light up the room, She had a heart of gold, she was always willing to run for everyone at any second during the day, she had the best personality & always made people laugh, she was the biggest believer in god & prayed to him every night on her knees, she loved Starbucks & I can't even believe I am having to write this or even go through this, as my heart is in complete pieces. It pains me to know we have to bury my mother after this horrible battle, She put up a great fight until the end, her battle started on February 2, 2023. She passed out, and went to the ER, From there she got transferred to Southern Hills Hospital, where she was admitted, while she was there she went into Cardiogenic shock due to covid and developed Myocarditis, Her heart stopped and she had to get an impella for her heart and ECMO for her heart & lungs, she then got transferred to USC Medical center in California. due to her having to be on life support for her heart & lungs, she lost circulation to her hands and feet during the delicate transfer, which resulted in her having necrosis which caused her hands and feet to turn black, she then suffered from all major organ failure. After a 9-week battle, 11 surgeries, and another heart attack, she became very little to respond, which she got an EEG of the brain which showed very very little brain activity , after the last heart attack, she fought just a little longer so we could go say our goodbyes, she left peacefully and is no longer in pain, it pains our family to be going through this difficult time, we are asking for any help with transport & funeral exspnses to help us get through this horrible time
