About MMW &co. – Mumma’s Mumday Workout & Co.
MMW &co. is a support-first, wellness-based safe space for mothers navigating:
• Postpartum recovery.
• Grief and miscarriage.
• Abortion recovery.
• Surgery or birth trauma.
• Parenting with mental health challenges.
• Isolation and burnout.
This group isn’t just about fitness – it’s about resetting the body, mind, and spirit in a gentle, compassionate space that feels like a hug.
How We’re Starting – In Local Parks
While we build our indoor centre, we’re already hosting free local park events to support mums face-to-face:
•Walk & Talk sessions
•Still Mum Circle for grieving mums
•Calm in the Park (stretching, breathing, sensory)
•Mumma Play Picnics for mums to connect while the little ones play
These events are donation-based and growing fast – but we need help with supplies and sustainability.

•Heal in peace and privacy.
•Move gently and safely with or without their baby.
•Feel seen, held, and supported without judgment.
•Access resources without red tape.
•Reconnect to themselves – at their own pace.
What Makes MMW&co Different?
• No pressure to be perfect.
• No alcohol, no loud chaos – just warmth and calm.
• We believe in "restorative care" over “bouncing back”.
• Safe, kind spaces for deep emotional healing.
• An option for mums to just show up and be – no expectation to talk, work out, or explain.
Key Spaces in the Centre:
Once your location is running, it will include:
1. Childcare Space – staffed by a trusted worker with referrals only
2.️ Quiet Room – for anxious, grieving, or overstimulated mums
3. Sensory & Mental Health Zone – with oils, affirmations, journals
4. Calm Music Area – “Scent of the Week,” playlists, QR posters
5. Toilets, Baby Room & Showers
6. Mum Journal Corner – with a book to write in and share
7. Dog Area – small section for behaved or service dogs (no large pets near children)
8. A few rooms for homeless mother's and bubs with internet, showers and washing machines.
(Referrals needed + a safe community member or council member will have a key to access)

Weekly Themes:
•“Mumma Movement Monday”: Light stretching, baby yoga or a gentle walk
•“Tough Talk Tuesday”: Grief, trauma, loss, healing, shame – with prompts or quotes
•“Wellness Wednesday”: Self-check-ins, health tips, food prep support
•“Still Mum Saturday” (Monthly): An open room day for any mum who feels "still in it"
Rotating Events.
•Pop-up park workouts
•Tea + Talk mornings with local doulas or mental health allies
•“Cry & Craft” sessions for mums who need to release while making •something gentle (e.g. affirmation cards, scent satchels)
•Mum Book Club (grief-friendly reads, recovery books, poetry)
Future Ideas for Growth:
1. “Mumma Boxes” – small care packs with oils, affirmations, tea, and journal pages.
2. Volunteer training program for mums wanting to help others after healing.
3. Mini outreach kits to local hospitals or clinics.
4. Build a mobile version of MMW&co for regional or outdoor setups.
5. “Mumma Mini Market”: Let mums sell their handmade goods on a wellness market day.

•Employ a trusted childcare assistant (referral-based only)
