Hello from Rock Creek Sports Club - We are reaching out to our loyal community members for support as we rally around our beloved Hector Jr. Hector had surgery on Monday to have his thyroid removed. It is an extensive surgery, lasting about 6 hours, but a common procedure. He anticipated one night in the hospital however; Hector did not wake up in the recovery room after surgery. He did not start to come out of anesthesia until 10 that night. He is still in the hospital, with hopes of coming home this weekend, but this remains uncertain. Hector Sr and his family are taking turns staying with him in the hospital.

Hector Jr will be hit with unanticipated medical bills due to the complications and his extended stay in the hospital. In addition, he will need to take an extended leave of absence from work to focus on his recovery. This will put a financial burden on him and his family, as he will not receive pay from his various jobs during his absence. We intend to pay Hector for his time missed at RCSC.

We are starting this GoFundMe campaign to help Hector Jr cover his missed income and any unexpected medical expenses. Any amount you can contribute, whether big or small, will go a long way in supporting him during his time of need. Our goal is to raise enough funds to help alleviate financial stress and allow him to focus on his recovery without worrying about the financial impact.
