MMS Othello to TSA National Conference

Hi, my name is Jackie Wilhelm, and I am raising money to get my son and the McFarland Middle School Robotics Club to Nationals in Orlando, Florida, in June 2024. Each student wanting to attend needs to raise $3,000 EACH.

This year the middle school attended and competed in their very first Washington Technology Student Association Conference in Seattle, WA and placed top 5 in the State, coming in at 4th place. This secured them a spot at Nationals this year. The teams did very well at the conference and exceeded expectations for their first year.

Competing at a National level would be an amazing opportunity for these boys. We would need to send the pilot and copilot in order to compete. Unfortunately, our school district cannot fund this trip as they paid for the entire club to attend the State Competition in full and did not budget for a National Competition.

I ask that you consider donating to our cause, some students are gifted in athletics or the arts, our boys are gifted in the area of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). We would like to keep them motivated by allowing them every opportunity that presents itself as it will help foster personal growth, leadership experience, and much more.
