Randy French graduated from Monument Mountain Regional High School in 1999. He was a great classmate and teammate, having lettered in wrestling and football. His friends speak frequently of his contagious laughter and joking nature. He was friendly towards new students and those who were struggling. As soon as he was old enough, Randy joined the police and fire departments. He went on to join ambulance as well, continuing with this at RPI where he met Danielle. On April 30, 2020 Randy lost his life after a long, hard fought battle with Covid 19. The MMRHS Class of 1999, along with Randy’s family and friends, would like to create an annual scholarship for graduating MMRHS seniors who are currently participating in firefighting, EMS, or police, and/or intend to pursue training in law enforcement, corrections, ambulance, firefighting or EMS.
