Ally is the daughter of Jeff and Missy (Moeller) Miller and little sister to Caleb, Dylan and Grace. Ally was born with 8 different heart defects know as Complete AV Canal, Tetralogy of Fallot and also Down's Syndrome. Ally was scheduled for corrective surgery in March, but last week she had an episode (know as a Tet Spell) at her cardiologists office and her oxygen level dropped to 32%. She was admitted to the PICU at Akron Children's Hospital and from there was life flighted to her surgeon at Mott's Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Yesterday Ally underwent her corrective surgery. Her surgery went well, but she is having some bumps in the road in her recovery. Jeff and Missy are both in Michigan with Ally and their other three kids are home with family.

If Ally's medical conditions weren't enough, in August Jeff was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He has been having bi-weekly chemotherapy treatments since his diagnosis. His last treatment was last week while Ally was being flown to Michigan.
