Hi, my name is Brian Parmelee. Diagnosed with MDS , mid July 2022.

Successful bone marrow transplant jan 25th 2023 cancer gone april 2023 thank you Jesus! God did give us a beautiful wedding in San diego, sunset cliffs overlooking the ocean, July 31st 2022. Came back, chemo 6 months and radiation, admitted Jan 16th 2023. Bone marrow transplant jan 25th 2023, cancer gone April 2023, thank you Jesus!!! Right around Easter and his resurrection, coincidence?? i think not...

So with a bone marrow transplant, they kill your entire immune system. Got get all new vaccines over time.......sooo, got the covid vaccine first (if i didnt get it and got covid , i would be dead)....andddd it gave me gvhd of the gut (graft vs host disease....donors cells fighting mine) Had jaundice and Diarreha, (9 weeks straight ,lost 30lbs, (159lbs woohoo) hand and stomach cramps, swollen feet and legs, pitting edema wooooweeee etc. Sucked it up and still did side hustles....lets just say challenging but God knew i could handle it..... Alot wasnt coming in $$ at this point so I did what I have to do, still do.

I do them now. We are behind, very behind. About $1000 in utilities alone.

Fast forward to jan 9th 2024. Broke my hip Wth? Thud!! Haha. Went down like a sack of bricks tripping over own feet and no padding so yea , Ive fallen and i cant get up haha.

....Was told prob won't be out of the woods with all of it til 2026 sometime. Taking about 18 pills a day.

, Had gvhd of the skin too, Itchy, splotchy all over. Had upper respiratory infection for a hot minute, been admitted 4x. Uggh....NO visitors ever from friends or family, just my wife....pathetic I know.

It's been a "journey" through it all, Jesus had and has me. No anxiety, fear, depression, worry etc. Zero!! God is good.

Jesus works wonderfully through the doctors at City Of Hope. Truly phenomenal facility, staff and drs. THE best cancer hosp in the world!! Literally. One of 2 anyway.

I am still sore with thighs, back , hips and arms but alive ! God is good!!! I now have lack of mobility. Strain to even cross my arms. Lifting right arm above head is a struggle and cant do it all the way. I have whats called Frozen Shoulder. Tailbone aches like a ^$*#&$* when I stand up ....wooweee.

Annnnnyyything you can give is a blessing! $10, $1000, ($1,000000 haha ) plus it would help me, us, bless others. (Locally the homeless and friends in middle east)...we help feed the homeless literally our hands to theirs.

My wife lost her daughter to leukemia 7 yrs ago at 28 so we both have had some serious challenges, losses , battles, victories!

the devil wants us stingy and to hoard and be greedy. What does it say on the back of money? "In God We Trust"... And even if not a believer , helping others is a wonderful thing ! ;)

Its a blessing to BE a blessing to others. We are called to it. Time, talent and yes treasure (your money). Well God's money, its all his Anyway.
