Help Create a Feature Film!

GREETINGS

Hello! I am filming my first feature film and I need your help!

This film supports the aid in the mental health community boosting the awareness of abuse with a well-meaning family member.

We plan to film in the 3rd week of July and hope to be done with editing in September! So we will keep this open until then!

EXTRAS

3% of any extra funds after we reach or goal will be donated to a Mental Health Care app called "Finch". It is designed to help people, like the characters in this film, who can afford therapy or just don't know where to start.

STORY SYNOPSIS

The story is set in Orlando, FL. The year is 2027, just 5 months after society’s collapse. People have stopped paying for things due to inflation skyrocketing higher than what people are being paid to live off of. Looting is now all that people know. Naive Maraschino and her older overprotective sister Pomelo have been driven into the woods after the death of their parents and the fall of society. They have learned how to survive in the deep woods which is now called bandit country.

As they squabble over the importance of doing what’s right in a world where everything is wrong, they mistakenly take a box of resources from a very violent man named Russel and his intimidated younger brother Sprout. After they get caught the two families teach each other about balance and care as they go on a wild goose chase filled with bandits, cunning, and violence. Thus, helping Sprout overcome the fearful hold Russel has on him; And making Maraschino wise enough to finally gain peace and trust with her sister.
