Help Tania Rebuild After Losing Everything
Donation protected
My name is Tania, and after being kicked out of my home in the Eastern Shore by my alcoholic boyfriend, I was forced to quit my job and live out of my truck until it finally broke down. I was living in a room behind a restaurant with the owner's permission. Yesterday, the actual owner of the property, the property manager, came and told me I had 30 minutes to move all my stuff out. Struggling to do that in 30 minutes, I managed to get all my things, put them in carts, and park them across the street until I could figure out what to do with them. I went back to check on them the very next morning and I saw two 1-800-GOT-JUNK trucks parked beside where my carts were. I asked the first guy in the truck if I could please have my things back, and he told me to go ask the other driver in the other truck. When I approached the other driver, he was shaking his head and told me no, he couldn't do it. I explained to him that everything I owned was in these carts, including my birth certificate, social security card, IDs, wallet, everything I own. He said nope, couldn't do it, and rolled his window up.
I am now currently with nothing but the clothes on my back and a bicycle that's broken down. Fortunately, my Aunt Kelly, who is struggling the same way, has helped me out as much as she can, but she can only do so much. I am in need of clothing, bedding, hygiene products—anything at all could help. If you can't donate money, any of these things donated would be greatly appreciated. I seem to be doing okay on my own without asking anybody for anything, but now I'm in a position where I need help. Thank you.
