Hello my name is Lauren Tubbs-Ezell and I am trying to raise money for my wife Molly Tubbs-Ezell pictured here. Molly has early stage T1 envasive carcinomas in both of her breasts. We have just found this out coming out of another major surgery she just had on her throat. 

Molly really needs no introduction. She is an open book and wears her heart on her sleeve. She has dealt with discrimination all her life, being a transgender person in the 1980s at the height of the AIDS epidemic, and continues to fight for trans rights today with her social media platforms and her position as a queer film maker. Her and her best friend have a production company that creates films focusing on LGBTQ issues, social justice, and the need for diversity, equity, and inclusion. 

Along with discrimination, Molly has experienced some major hardships including being cheated on by past relationships that still affects her financial situation even today. These upcoming medical expenses are only going to exacerbate her financial burdens and your donation would greatly allievate this stress from her as she goes through an equally stressful time in her life. 

I legitimately have no words to describe how much I love Molly. She/They pulled me out of a dark place and taught me to live my truth even though I had tried for 24 years to ignore and hide a major part of me. She continues to encourage me every day with my pursuits and I try my best to do the same for her, but life unfortunately keeps getting in our way.

Regardless of my testimony, Molly is a true angel on earth and deserves to tackle cancer without financial stress. If you speak to anyone else who either knows Molly personally or has just met her, they will say the same thing. Please consider donating whatever you can.
