I am fundraising for Tia, who is the victim of a domestic violence situation. After years of physical and emotional abuse at the hands of her partner, Tia desperately turned to the police for help, and instead of finding the support she needed– ended up with a high-stakes court date that jeopardizes her ability to stay safe with her children.

Since then, her partner has been deported, leaving her with two kids to care for and no familial support. She has been looking for a job for weeks to no avail.
