Hello to my friends, family, acquaintances, and extended network of humans. I am writing to you today because I am in dire need of help. I have been dealing with some life-changing and significant issues for years, and unfortunately, these things have reached a peak where I find myself in an unmanageable position. Though I have put this off, and it’s completely outside of my nature, I am finally reaching out because my family and I desperately need help.

Over the years, I have been involved in the Bay Area music community. Because of my long history here (since 1998), I found myself in a position where I had the knowledge and skills to help other aspiring musicians. I took many artists under my wing, taught them everything I knew, shared with them, introduced them to my network, and watched them blossom. Unfortunately, not all were thankful for my help. There was one that caused many issues for me over the years. When it was finally time to part ways, I did so, and in return, this person filed a frivolous lawsuit against me. One that is full of lies and deceit, as a method to do intentional harm to me my and my family. Sadly, it is working. I have not yet found justice in the legal system, although I am sure this will be thrown out once it’s in front of a judge.

I have spent countless hours trying to mitigate the situation, have been pulled away from most sources of income that I can generate to focus on it, have learned AI, and used it to help reduce the costs related to the lawsuit. Yet, I cannot keep up with the avalanche of expenses and the workload that have plagued me for the last year. I have reached into whatever savings we had and borrowed from friends and family, and I am currently out of resources and drowning in current and upcoming legal bills. I am falling behind on my personal finances as well, as all my time and money is going toward defending myself from this calculated attack.

At this point, I am at risk of losing my home, my ability to continue living in the Bay Area, my daughter’s ability to attend her school, my sanity, and everything I have built to help my fellow musicians and friends needing support and healing. I am ready to give up.
