Hi, this isn’t something I really didn’t want to do but we really need all the help we can get now as we have exhausted all our other options.so Il start from the beginning, we rescued this beautiful girl almost two months ago, she was starved, riddled with mange, dehydrated and had infected eyes and ears. She couldn’t walk and we had to carry her everywhere and help support her when she was going to toilet as she just didn’t have the strength to hold herself up. Took us over a week to get her to eat properly but I spent I spent days hand feeding and syringing water and puppy milk into her. She had to have daily baths for the treatment of mange and steroid injections as it was just so bad. She is now on steroid tablets to keep the mange at bay. She’s been on antibiotics for her ears and eyes and antibiotic eye drops, she has ingrown toenail’s and has been having physio so she could walk again. Coco was so starved that she was popping blood because her belly was so empty. We thought things were looking up for her but the last few days she has been crying out in pain again and today we had some heartbreaking news, coco has a 3 month old fracture to her spine which she needs surgery for but this surgery is going to cost us thousands and we just don’t have all the money to cover it and no insurance company would cover her due to her being mistreated. She has currently been put on very strong pain meds to help her relax but if she doesn’t have this surgery our poor coco will probably have to be put to sleep this poor baby is just 6months old.
