My nephew,7 year old Kai (Malikai) was recently diagnosed with stage 4 Bone cancer Alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma (Arms) with Bone marrow metastasis. It started in April with him limping. There was several tests ran, physical therapy, and then he was referred to orthopedics..After a MRI the Dr's wanted him back to the hospital immediately. After more testing and being in the hospital for 3 weeks his family was told this cancer is aggressive and has already spread throughout his bones and bone marrow in a short amount of time..He is able to be home now but, in a wheel chair. The Dr's are worried his bones will fracture. He can not bare any weight on them.He is not the same Little boy since all this, he's in pain at times,nauseous,lethargic, struggles with eating etc..He needs and is getting the best care.. He will be doing radiation 5 days a week. Along with the chemo weekly For 42 weeks. The facility for treatments are 2 and 1/2 hrs one way...These are hard on him..and his family..I'm asking for help and support do to lost work wages,gas,housing,food and other expenses that are going to be needed during this time. No one likes to ask for help but no one seen this coming . If you can help please do so and please keep Kai and his family in your prayers during this long journey..
