Dear all,
Mladen is my nephew, 25 years old. Our lives were changed that summer day, almost two years ago,  when Mladen suffered sudden cardiac arrest and collapsed on basketball court. EMT team arrived quickly but they had trouble resuscitating Mladen which resulted in severe hypoxia and traumatic brain injury as a consequence. 
Since then, Mladen has been treated in Serbia, eventually he was stabilized but in vigil coma. Family moved Mladen to Croatia for further treatment. There, he had an excellent medical team and implants were placed to stabilize his heart - defibrillator and to treat his brain injury - deep brain stimulator. This resulted in improvement since he was able to have physical rehabilitation. He was transported back to Serbia where the best rehabilitation clinic in Belgrade does not have experience and  trained staff to treat him in a proper way. Family wants to give Mladen the best chance for recovery and is planning to take him to clinic in Germany where he can be evaluated and put on rigorous physical rehabilitation.
