Today we lost our mom.

My mom, Kristina, died today. She had been battling many lifelong illnesses but this time they couldn’t save her. If you knew my mom you knew she was always the “crazy” one, the one who brought out the life of the party, the one who talked to everyone and made them feel involved, and the one who could make strangers feel like they’re part of the family, she will definitely be missed. Her death comes unexpected and our family is in shock, she was only 74. My mom had no income besides disability, no savings, and no life insurance, so the funeral costs rely on my sisters and I. As many know, death is never easy and losing a parent is hard. My moms wish was to be buried when she died and she made us promise that we would give that to her. However, we’re struggling to come together with the funds for her funeral. We want to be able to grieve properly and give her the burial she deserves, we owe that to her. We appreciate any support and assistance, trust me when I say we know how hard it is to survive in this world, so anything as little as a dollar or a share are greatly appreciated from me and my family.
