I have started a Go Fund Me for my brother Todd Parker. Sorry in advance but this is long because there is so much going on.

Our goal is $3000

A lot of you know my brother Todd Parker and many of you are aware of some of health issues that he has been dealing with.

He does not like talking about his health issues on a public platform because he feels embarrassed about it but some of you do know that he is terribly ill.

He has been in the hospital several times over the past couple of years including trips to Mayo Clinic in Minnesota which can cost a lot of money to go there, and he has more appointments coming up. So, I’m starting this Go Fund Me to help cover cost for the trips there.

Todd worked long hours over the past several months, right up until his first trip to Mayo. I appreciate any and all donations, so Todd doesn’t have to worry about the cost of traveling back and forth to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Todd was there July 2nd to see a hematologist to find out that he does not have lymphoma but has a few tumors that need to be biopsied asap quickly as possible.

Todd is headed back to Mayo the beginning of August to see the cardiologist about his heart. A few things to mention are that he has congestive heart failure and his heart is functioning at only 20% of his heart is functioning now. He has coronary heart disease and has a valve that needs replaced and a list of many other things going on with his heart.

Last week was the cram del la cram for him. On Tuesday Todd went to the hospital with afib. He ended up having a minor stroke as well as a heart attack. The next day Todd had an echocardiogram that showed his heart is getting weaker and that he has two aneurysms on his heart. He also found out that he is in the beginning stages of dementia which really bums him out and made him sad and depressed.

After he was discharged from the hospital his neurologist wanted to see him asap. He went to the neurologist to find out that he has suffered brain damage that could now be causing him to have seizures. They are mild at this time, and I pray that they do not get any worse. The doctor then told Todd that he has three tumors on the frontal left lobe that have grown since his las ct. the neurologist has referred him to Mayo Clinic to see the neurologist there to see if there is anything that they can do to help.

The doctors have told him that his heart is too weak to handle chemo, and they can’t do heart surgery because his heart is too weak and for fear of the cancer spreading quicker so his options at this time are not very promising but every day, I see him get up with a smile and crack jokes all day long even though I can see the pain in his eyes. He’s the strongest person I know because even with all he’s going through even though there’s people who have it worse but he continues to do this with a smile. He wakes up smiling every day, knowing he has a major battle before him but refuses to whine and cry about it
