Help save Lincoln
Donation protected
This morning, our dog Lincoln, managed to steal a raisin muffin out of Dan’s backpack and consume the entire thing. As you may know, raisins can cause kidney failure in dogs which can lead to death. We took him to the emergency vet immediately and they induced vomiting. While he threw up many raisins, there is no way to know how many he ate and if there are any left in his system. We were advised to leave him overnight for blood work, fluids and monitoring, as symptoms of kidney failure would show itself within the first couple of days.
We were given an estimate of $2000. Any donations or a simple share would be greatly appreciated and go a long way.
Lincoln is the little love of our lives and we cannot imagine life without him. He is only 1 1/2 years young and full of life. He is a very food motivated dog (clearly) and incredibly smart. We go on daily adventures where he can be in his element and RUN! He loves to herd and weave in and out of trees through the forest. We like to learn tricks, many of which he has quickly mastered. And let me tell you, this dog can JUMP! Our most recent success has been teaching Lincoln to swim, as he is quite timid around water. Lincoln loves to curl up in bed with us at night and is sweet enough to let us sleep until we are ready to get out of bed. When I am sick or sad or just plain tired, he somehow knows and is there to give me comfort and LOTS of kisses. He loves everyone and is loved by many. ❤️ Please keep him in your thoughts.
