I am Mohaned, 31 years old. I am from gaza,I have three children: Youssef, five and a half years old, Saif Al-Din, four years old, and Zain, three years old. These innocent children who have only seen bombing, destruction and death in their lives, do they not deserve a life filled with laughter and play?!

I am a driving instructor and professional manager at a driving education institution. After October 7, life turned into a tragic and bitter reality. After living a decent life, I lost my job and my source of livelihood. The institution where I worked for seven years was destroyed. All transportation establishments stopped working. Vehicles and cars have been destroyed, I lost my car, and it is worth mentioning and most important, Damage to my house in the central Gaza Strip

Now, I am homeless, and I struggle to find a safe place for my children and my family. We have been displaced several times in search of survival. Unfortunately, there is no safe place in Gaza. We live in very difficult conditions. It is difficult to provide the necessities of life, such as food and water.

I cannot imagine the idea of ​​one of my children being harmed. I want to escape with them to safety and escape from this war to peace.

My children suffer from alternating high temperatures due to the healthy environment, the spread of viruses, and polluted water, which causes abdominal pain, fatigue, and weak weight due to malnutrition and vitamin deficiency.

My child, Saif, who has a beautiful laugh, suffers from chest allergies. It is wrong for him to be exposed to smoke, dust, or any smell that affects his breathing, and we live in an environment full of pollution and viruses.

My child, Yousef, is always lively, crying longing for the kindergarten bus, his kindergarten, his friends, toys, and colors. This painful war deprived our children of their childhood and stole the most beautiful days of their childhood.

My youngest child, Zain, who grew up listening to the sound of bombings, is always close to his mother’s arms because he is so afraid when he hears air raids and cries quickly.

In the midst of chaos, we struggle to provide food, sanitary water and diapers. My family and I desperately need your support. Over the past nine months, Gaza has suffered harsh conditions, including the loss of our home, relatives and livelihood, due to heavy bombing. The places of our cherished memories and dreams have been destroyed. The moment of optimism for better days stems from our beautiful days before October 7, the moments of laughter, play, and joy. These are the source of hope to restore what was killed within us. This is a call to every person who believes in the power of humanity. With your support, we and my family can reach safety, and you provide my family with a future full of hope and an opportunity to survive and rebuild.

My wife says:

I am Nermin, 30 years old. My dream and ambition is to succeed, excel, and obtain a permanent job. I have worked very hard, persevered, and worked hard continuously for seven years to pass the employment test, which is one of the most difficult tests. Thank God, I was successful in the Gaza government test for the Arabic language subject, and the joy was indescribable, and it increased happying with my success in the UNRWA test for the year 2023.

But this joy was not complete and did not exceed a month. The war began on the seventh of October, destroying my ambition, dream and passion. The joy turned into sadness and a sad reality without hope.
