MARTY'S CANCER TREATMENT

Please join us in helping our dear friend, Marty.  Marty has worked as an art teacher for 34 years.  He has recently been diagnosed with colon cancer.  This is his  third time to be diagnosed with cancer within the past 6 years.   He loves running and he uses that time for prayer.   Marty would like you to know :  "My family, life group, friends at church and the prayer team have been instrumental with words of encouragement and prayers With each new challenge I have learned not to focus on the problem but to focus on life giving words such as "I am an overcomer and I overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the and the word of my testimony revelation 12 :11"

Marty is an inspiration to all who know him.  I have never seen him without a HUGE smile on his face.  Even when he was telling us (his life group) about his diagnosis, his demeanor never changed.  He has shown us courage in the face of the enemy of cancer.  His faith and determination are relentless.  He is a marathon runner, so you can imagine, he is not a quitter.  He has beat cancer before and he is determined to do it again, with a smile on his face and the name of Jesus every step of the way.

Cancer is an expensive enemy and as he continues his battle, the financial challenge can be overwhelming.  Please please join us in helping Marty.  We would love to raise funds to help him continue with his chemo and fight this battle.  Anything you can do would be so appreciated.
