Hey Everyone. I am starting this page because I really do not know where else to turn at this point. On 2/18/2023 my fiancee and I received a notice that our lease was not going to be renewed and we are being asked to vacate our condo as of 3/20. This was quite alarming to us, because we have been tenants who have never missed our rent or caused any type of issue , or have even been complained about even one time. On 2/15  I had sent an email to our landlord to fix some issues that we had that were never dealt with in three years. We have a leak behind our shower, the wood tiles on our floors or deteriorating , and our fridge is old and now broken down. Two days later we received a letter that we would need to vacate in the incoming month, and they need to inspect our apartment for further damages.  I simply asked for help, and wasThis comes at a severe time of difficulty because my fiancee was reecently laid off from her job in healthcare because she was pregnant. We just had our newborn baby Arya on 2/9 and so I had just taken leave from my job to help raise our baby. My fiancee is not employed and I am on parental leave. For my fiancee and I to come up with 5 -7 thousand dollars in such a short time is just too tall of a  ask. I have my 4 yr old daughter, my newborn baby, my fiancee, as well as two turtles and cats to take care of.  Unfortunately nor myself or my fiancee have any family that can offer us any kind of assistance. We are entirely on our own and I am just trying to make it so my fiancee and kids dont wind up homeless and out on the street. As many of you know, NY is a very expensive state. To move you need to pay First and Last Months Rent. Then you need to pay security and usually a brokers fee. On top of that you need to pay movers to help move everything into a new place. All of this costs roughly 6-7000 dollars. I dont have the means to come up with such a large amount of money so quickly. We are going to do our best to stay as long as we can, but our landlord is more than likely going to take legal action against us if we continue to stay. I really hope things dont get that far as getting a judgement against you can potentially ruin your chances of moving into another place and ever buying a home. I know times are tough for everyone especially since the pandemic began. I am asking for any help that can be given at all. I really dont like asking for help, but I just dont know what else to do at this point. I fear the months to come and am just trying to get on this as soon as I can before this gets worse. Anything at all helps. I have attached some photos of my family below just so you guys know were actually real people haha. I sincerely appreciate any donation to our cause. It really means the world to us.
