Many of us at Verizon have worked with MK and Michael for a number of years and expressed getting together as a team for Michael and their son Tyler to contribute and honor MK's memory.
We've made the decision, with Michael's blessing, to raise funds for counseling for Tyler, currently a student at Lansing Community College.
All funds raised will go directly to Michael so he can schedule this for Tyler.
As many of us know, the grief from losing a loved one can be very overwhelming and often unbearable. As a team, we believe this will aid him in the grieving process.
Michael and MK covered such a large area within Michigan, Indiana and Kentucky for Verizon, so we feel this is the easiest way for everyone to contribute.
