MKC Project Start Up Fund!

MKC Project is a Hayward-area dance community that was created to keep the Fusion Dance Project fellowship connected.

After FDP's 2022 closure, Marikar Castillo (longtime FDP studio manager, instructor and choreographer) made the commitment to launch MKC Project as an unofficial continuation of Fusion Dance Project.

MKC Project's goal is to provide Hayward-area folks of all ages, sizes and abilities top-notch dance instruction in a pre-profesisonal yet nuturing environment with boundless creativity.

With the unwaivering support of our community members (and the kindness of our neighboring dance studio owners, who allowed us to temporarily rent their spaces), MKC Project has been able to launch successful summer dance programs and we are now eagerly planning for the fall.

The goal of this fundraiser is to assist Marikar and her team in finding a permanent spot that MKC Project can call its own for the longterm (and we already have a potential place lined up!).

This fundraiser is solely to help us cover business expenses, as we are starting "from scratch". One hundred percent of all funds donated will go towards rent, wages and various other business-related costs. Any excess donations raised will be invested directly into the MKC Project community and used for potential expansions, workshops, events, etc.
