Update on Sasha: She is still improving! Praise the Lord! She wagged her tail for the first time yesterday. She has been so weak so seeing this I prayed that she would wag her tail for us and God gave me that answer. Thank you Lord! She is not strong enough to stand up yet but she is trying. She is lifting her head and sitting up. They were able to take her off both the norepinephrine and plasma because her blood pressure is stabalizing! Plasma was absolutely life saving for her but it was $2000 a day! Her kidneys have some damage and she has a GI bleed. They thought she may need a blood tranfusion but it doesnt look like shes going to need one since her numbers are improving. Being off of the plasma for over 12 hours is a huge step in the right direction. We should be able to being her home tomorrow!! She has a long recovery ahead of her so please continue to pray for her healing! Thank you to all of our friends and family that have donated we truly appreciate it more than you know!! Anything helps even $1! Our bill is astronomical at this point I think it’s at $15,000 not including what we paid to the first two vets I’ve lost track but we just want our Sasha girl home! She’s not just a dog she’s our child and if she’s fighting then we’re gonna fight with her

UPDATE: Sasha is slowly improving praise the Lord!! But she needs to stay there a few more days to stabilize. She is no where near ready to go home. She needs at least another days worth of plasma to stabilize her blood pressure. Blue pearl is requiring payment of $3,500 by 7pm tonight to continue her care. She will die without their care! We need a miracle!! Please anything helps! $1, $5, anything!

Sasha is the best girl. She is 13 years old but you would never know it. She’s our healthiest dog who still looks and acts like a puppy. We’ve had her since she was 8 weeks old.

Sasha ate something that caused a blockage. She started throwing up and refusing to eat. Her regular vet refused to squeeze her in their schedule so I took her to a new vet. They did x-rays and bloodwork. They missed the blockage and said she was a little dehydrated and that it was most likely a GI upset. We brought her home but she continued to decline. We took her to the emergency clinic in town. At this point she was very dehydrated because she couldn’t keep anything down. They did X-rays, ultrasound, and bloodwork. They also didn’t see the blockage. Her bloodwork showed she was very dehydrated and was starting to decline. We transferred her to blue pearl in Tampa for critical care. They also did X-rays, ultrasound, and bloodwork. They found a blockage causing this whole thing but at this point Sasha isn’t doing good. I should’ve taken her to blue pearl from the very beginning. How did both places miss the blockage?!

Sasha is currently fighting for her life at Blue Pearl. She is getting the best care possible there. They finally got her body stable enough to do the surgery to remove the blockage. The surgery went well. Everyone was worried she wouldn’t make it through surgery so the doctors and staff were very happy she pulled through. But Sasha’s fight is far from over. She’s having a hard time stabilizing after the surgery so she’s going to be there a lot longer than expected.

Our Blue Pearl bill alone is climbing over $10,000. The first emergency clinic was $1,095 and the first vet was $545. This is not something we were financially prepared for.

I have to keep fighting for Sasha to survive. She’s not giving up so neither am I. Please if you’re able to donate so we can keep fighting for Sasha we would be forever grateful!! I don’t want to lose her!!

And please say a prayer for her. I fully believe in the power of prayer and our God is the worker of miracles. God willing our Sasha will get through this!
