Hi, my name is Chris, though depending on where this ends up, most of you know me as Dovaskus.

Quick backstory. I am a father of two awesome boys and have the privilege of being a husband to amazing wife. We are also parents of a few fur babies as well.

I have taken a lot of pride in finding solutions to my own problems without asking for help, so this kind of thing is foreign to me, and to be honest, feels wrong.

I lost my job on March, 5th 2024. I knew it was coming and knew there was nothing I could do about it. I had things figured out for a month or two and expected to be back in the workforce within weeks.

Unfortunately it's been months, and while my family and friends have all helped as much as they can, I can't ask any singular person for this amount at once.

My mortgage company is unwilling to help my situation unless I get at least one payment done before the end of May. At minimum, I need at least 2200.00 USD, however I am behind 2 months and need 4400 to become current. I have a few promising interviews in the pipeline but I won't have started in time to get to the point I need to be to mitigate this further. My loan is too new for deferment and since I have no current form of income, including unemployment the company will not assist.

I really don't wanna do this, but here's Wonderwall I guess.

Edit: I have a job now but have one or two major hurdles to get over. I am almost out of the woods. I just need enough to save my car.
