Help My Mom Kick Cancer

This week my mom was diagnosed with Leukemia. My mom who cares endlessly about others and is a very giving human being. My mom who inspired me at 12 years old to donate my babysitting money to the humane society. My mom has always inspired me to be a better person. To care about and pray for those who hurt me and forgive them to maintain my own happiness. She was my very first best friend and is always my number one fan. She always supports my goals and aspirations even as they change sometimes daily. One of the best things in life is knowing and feeling like someone loves you unconditionally and this person is my mom.
My parents are very hardworking people and always have been. My mom had two jobs the entirety of my childhood, and though I sometimes would miss her my brother and I always had what we needed and wanted. My dad also is just as hard working. He has been working nearly 12 hour days at the same job for over 25 years and has probably used maybe one sick day. I used to go to school sick because to me you just power through it and keep going, that’s the amazing example my parents set for me.
My mom is being very brave and her faith is powering her through what is sure to be a hard road. Although there is nothing more I can do for her than be an everlasting emotional support in her life I would like to help my parents with the enormity of bills that are about to be a stressful everyday presence in their life. I am asking for help because I know my parents won’t. My parents have worked for everything they have and they still donate money to church, charities and other important causes such as St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. My mom even volunteered to build houses for those less fortunate.
I am asking you to help my family get through this unexpected and painful time the only way I can right now. I thank you so much for giving to the parents who not only gave me life but everything I needed to have a happy healthy one.
