Aaron's Mobility Fund
Donation protected

Welcome! Meet Aaron (and his sister Luci)! Aaron's 7, a bundle of energy, and loves to move. If he could walk, he'd probably play football or wrestle, but that's not how his legs work. So, since our family loves to get out and move together, we're always on the lookout for creative ways to do that with a non-walker.
Recently, we learned of a local bikesmith, Bilenky Cycle Works, that molds and manufactures specially engineered touring bikes, like this one below:

(Note: this tandem has foot pedals; ours would have hand-cranks for Aaron's seat)
We're excited that we'd be able to all get out together, enjoy being outside and getting some exercise, for many years to come, using this "Viewpoint," as they call it. But it's not cheap. Our friends at Simple Cycle , another local business, have agreed to help us keep the costs as low as possible by procuring the parts and building the bike, once Bilenky has engineered the frame.
But we still need help! That's where you come in.
Would you consider helping us look like this family below (substitute happy boy for the lady in front ;) and giving a gift toward Aaron's bike?

Total cost: an estimated $6,000
Our fundraising goal: $5,000
$1,500 needed by March 21, 2015
*Note: if you're concerned with making your gift tax-deductible, contact us personally and we can let you know how*
