Hi. I'm Matt and I need your help.
In 2025, I lost my job and then got evicted, resulting in me needing to start all over again. I found a place, and I thought that I'd found a job. But they wanted me to work and, well, not get paid for it. So I found another job. In fact, I found several. And all of them hired me but didn't actually want to bother giving me any hours to actually work. And when I applied for unemployment, the state declared that despite 9 months of work, I wasn't owed any unemployment benefits.
So, I have no income. I'll likely have a job soon, and hopefully this one will pay me, but right now, I have a lot of creditors. Rent, car insurance, tag renewal for my car, and various other minor bills. And they all want to be paid. Now. I lost most of my possessions when I lost my old place, so I don't have anything to sell. I've emptied my retirement funds. I need rent, and to get my vehicle issues handled. Once I have my tags and insurance back up, I can do deliveries and at least survive, but right now, I don't even have enough to pay for gas. If I can get that handled, I should be able to survive as I'm getting job offers, and at some point, one of them has to be legitimate.
Look, I know times are tough. But any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
