Heather is a mother, sister, daughter and friend.
She is a beautiful light in this world; an activist for animals, the planet and for human-kindness.
Her calling on this earth is to help others recognize their own light, so they can fully live their lives. Her job as a Soul Midwife (death doula) is to provide comfort and compassion for people in their last moments alive. She is a healer and desperately needs healing.
Heather is a COVID- Long hauler.
Heather has been battling this beast for over 365 days. Her income has suffered and her health has been pushed beyond limits which most of us could not even imagine.
A year after contracting the virus, she still has heart, lung, and brain symptoms and is chronically fatigued. The virus has attacked her eyes, and she is now at risk of losing her vision completely due to macular degeneration and glaucoma.
Heather's friends have offered several times throughout this past year to start a Gofundme; and she's always declined. Thinking others in pain need it more than she does and holding on to hope that the next week would be different; she'd be back to work full time. It's just too much.....she needs help right now. She needs us to help lift her up financially and spiritually.
Heather, like millions of Americans, does not have health insurance.
She has exhausted her savings, and is unable to make rent on her own.
We are raising money to help keep her in her home, alleviate some of the stress she is carrying, and pay for medical help.

Our goal is now $50,000. This will cover her rent for the rest of the year, pay off existing medical bills, and allow her to seek and receive necessary treatments.
