Hi there! My name is Margie and I'm needing help to raise funds for my son. On Thursday, July 14, 2022, my son Joseph was in a terrible car accident. He had a heavy load on his truck that shifted around a corner, sending him towards the edge of the road and his power steering went out causing him to lose control of his vehicle. He broke his back in two places, fractured a rib, has a concussion, multiple staples and stitches to close up lacerations to his head and arm. Lots of swelling, bruising and road rash. Honestly, my son is lucky to be alive! He has a special brace for his back and is going to need several appointments with his neurologist, primary care physician, physical therapist and any other specialist, treatment and imaging he may need. Their household just lost a huge amount of income and their out of pocket is $6,500 alone. Then come the copays and things are stacking up fast.
