Imagine being told you're a statistic and college is no place for someone like you. Someone that went to 13 different schools, lived in 7 different states, and grew up surrounded around a foster care environment. This is what statistics call a broken home. Despite my circumstances, I'm someone that used my past experiences as motivations to succeed with academics and in life. I barely graduated from high school, but graduated Cum Laude from college and will be seeking to pursue my masters in the near future. I'm a living testimony that with Faith and determination, you can keep going, thanks to my mother, who continuously encourages me and deeply instilled in me“You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you”.
I am so honored to reach a larger crowd as Miss Black Colorado USA 2015 by sharing my personal testimony and letting individuals, students know in particular that if I can do it, you can do it too!

I will be competing in the Miss Black USA pageant on August 9th in Washington D.C. Once again, I am letting individuals, students know in particular, if I can do it you can do it too! I am truly grateful to be apart of this great event, but like most things, partaking in a pageant can be expensive. This is where you can help make my dream of competing in the national pageant a reality. I am now raising funds for the Peoples Choice Award. Whoever raises the most money and gains the most votes will have a guarenteed top 15 spot to compete for the title of Miss Black USA. You can donate here or vote at:
