Ben Harris

Hi my name is Julie and I’m raising money to help my friend, Ben, raise money for hospital bills and to catch up his mortgage. He was hospitalized due to a bleeding ulcer. By the time he got to the ER he was having convulsions. He was admitted to the hospital on Friday night. They gave him blood and got him stabilized. However, he had a turn for the worse late Saturday night. Surgery was performed Sunday afternoon. He was kept sedated for about a week. With God’s blessings he survived and has gotten steadily better. Unfortunately even with insurance he still owed hospital bills that are over $20,000 at one hospital and about the same at UAB. Also he is currently 2 months behind on his mortgage payments. As of November it will be 3 months behind. Please help him. Ben has worked hard all of his life but hasn’t been able to catch up on all of the bills after this illness. He tries to work but it’s taking a toll on him. After doing anything he has to sit down to catch his breath. Any help would be very much appreciated.

I want to say thank you to everyone who has given a donation to help Ben. We almost have enough to catch up one mortgage payment which will be a big step. Once the mortgage is current we can use any future donations to take care of Hospital and doctor bills. Ben had an appointment today to see the wound care doctor. It was supposed to (hopefully) be his last visit, but the doctor was not in. So Ben rescheduled for next Friday. Please say a prayer that it will be his last visit.
